We named our place 'MakaniKai' -- Hawai'ian for 'Ocean Breeze' -- because it evokes the relaxing experience of sun, sand, and escape from the everyday. It is decorated in vintage vacation style, blending eclectic accents from Bali, Thailand, Hawai'i, and other island destinations with the laidback atmosphere of one of the Kujukuri area's best beaches: Motosuka Kaigan. The perfect peaceful place to read, write, think, and enjoy the Japanese countryside. |
