Law Prof Seeking Housing for 22-23 Academic Year

I'm a professor in my late 30 looking to rent a place in or near Detroit. I am doing a visiting professorship at University of Detroit Mercy Law School.

I am looking for a dog friendly place. I will not have my dog with me full time, but my fiance (a professor at a med school in Chicago) will be visiting fairly often with the dog. We have a 6 year old, 25 lb mini aussie who is well behaved and doesn't bark (unless someone rings the doorbell!).

Furnished place would be ideal but I can make unfurnished work. 6 months or month to month would also be ideal, if possible, as I will spend a month between semesters working in Chicago. Happy to chat or answer any questions about myself or what I'm looking for. Thank you.
