Need home/ apartment for two years 2026/2028

Requirements:

Hello everyone!
I'm an assistant professor based in Italy, and I’ll be moving to the USA with my family (two adults and two children, ages 4 and 7). I’ll be working at Northern Illinois University, and we’re looking for a furnished apartment or house anywhere between Chicago and DeKalb.

Our stay will be from August 2026 to July 2028, and we are open to rentals that cover the whole period or at least one full year. We’d also be very glad to connect with scholars going on sabbatical who might want to rent out their home.
